Pour Jenevieve - Wedding Inspirations

I have shelved my RAW images and photography for a while, not abandoned it as it is always in my heart. I love photography more than ever, this gave me the chance to express a lot of things, both emotionally, mentally and intellectually. I`ve taken a few shot of my daughter-in-laws wedding day and inspirations, unsure of what I will feel or what to see & what to expect. I don`t usually do weddings or events, I am more of the nature, food enthusiast or flora & macro shutterbug. I hope my passion continues so that I am able to share my same interest with you. I have shelved my writings too, hopefuls that soon I will be inspired again. I hope I made this one special for my son & his wife, this is just one of the many pictures I have of your special day. To Robbie & Jen, wishing you a happy life all through out. Cheers

Today everything exist ~

“Today everything exists to end in a photograph.”
― Susan Sontag

Among the thorns comes a beautiful flower ~

Oh burn me with your beauty then, among the thorns comes a beautiful flower. What a beauty even a littlest cactus can bring. To see it's colour is so splendid, every flower in spring seems to be the highlight of the season, it's rebirth after all. Another pulchritude! Fire's of Spring.
My artsy interpretation, as elucid as I can bring.

Come gentle spring ~

Not a huge fan of textures but Spring made me do it. I haven't been also in the greatest mood to write poetically nor have time to do any of my creative writings. For now I am going to be contented with the wordings that I have. As pulchritude as can be. Happy week-end to all.

Greeting of the sun, lure of April days

The weather has been getting milder, albeit the rain comes on & off, it's Vancouver can't complain. On a spring day like this I feel like having my cup of seafood chowder. Greetings of the sun, lure of April days...cheers!

Lily of Spring 2 (Fawn Lily)

...my cotton candy of spring, soft pastel colors. This time I am posting the white fawn lily of Hi-Knoll Park. The sun is up today and not much rain, just perfect for my day our to the park with a friend.
Happy Monday everyone! Cheers

Lily of Spring (White Fawn Lily)

...I guess I love the bokeh on this shot, the color of the background just exploded.
This year there are not much lilies at the Hi-Knoll Park, they are getting scarce in number or maybe they are really getting rare every year, almost in it's extinction at that place. I hope everyone that goes there will just simply admire it and not to pick the flowers. They are so beautiful! Happy Monday

Good health brings changes~

God Sends Us
Blessings
in Disguise

God speaks to us
through long lines,
and traffic jams,
and all of life’s annoying
inconveniences.

God speaks to us
through toilet paper
on shoes,
bad hair days,
and all of life’s
humiliating
experiences.

God speaks to us
through flat tires,
broken appliances,
and all the “last straws”
that make us say,
“I give up!”
so He can finally
take over.

Life takes some crazy directions sometimes, bringing changes we just can't ignore but to do the best for health for myself & my love ones. A simple birthday lunch for my hubby ♥♥♥
# Baked Wild Atlantic Sockeye Salmon with home made vegennaise & roasted vegetables, Home Made Gluten Free Potato Gnocchi with slowly roasted tomatoes & portobello mushroom, brown rice and amad tea. There's never been a dull moment in the kitchen but to cook the best and trying anything new for my family, love to cook! that's for sure.
A simple healthy recipe made with love & care. Happy Tuesday! Cheers :o)

Brown Rice Spaghetti Pasta with Portabello Mushroom~

Healthy Choices, food matters, it's your choice!

a favorite line from the "Hungry For Change is committed to helping you help yourself. We believe that your body is worthy of good care and that no one is more suitably qualified to care for it than yourself. Think of us as your nutritional consultants and know that we are here with you on your journey to a healthier life."
~James & Laurentine (Hungry for Change)

Brown Rice Spaghetti Pasta, I prefer not to use any bottled pasta sauce but instead it's a lot of tomatoes and anato powder for coloring. A lot of garlic is the secret to a great sauce. I also prefer to use a lot of natural organic ingredients. A healthy meal. Change is good, progress is in full speed! Bon Apetit! Cheers :o)

Remember when...

remember when...
I first taught you how to cook. We bake, we made breakfast, and your favorite cake.
You flipped your first pair of pan cakes, and toss your first salad.
Everyone was home, it was such a fun day. Those where the days...
