Sometimes we need to listen to hear when our heart is in silence,
Sometimes we need to stop thinking and hear what our heart is saying,
Sometimes we need to be in silence to listen to what God is saying,
I know when my heart says all these, then I stop and I listen as the silence of my heart illumines...
~ Lisa M.
My Heart Says to My Mind
My mind says to my heart:
"Will you please praise God for me?"
My heart says to my mind:
"Will you please pray to God
To bless me?"
~ Sri Chinmoy
Sometimes being so sporadic pays-off, sometimes my heart dictates my mind to create a poem what my heart dictates in an instant. I listen in silence when God speaks and my mind command my hand to write... truly from a heart's beat and mind. It dictates God's gifts & blessings. Happy Week-end to all! Have a blessed Sunday.

Silence Illumines ~
Peerless Rope ~
Our lives are like ball of entwined ropes, we start with one cord. Slowly we build it up by adding more cords to make a ball. We can make it colorful or make it black & white. We weave our own dreams, hope, faith and love with it. Never a perfect one, we go through loops, wrong ends, or frustrations because we cannot complete; but no matter what there is always success because we believe.
Whenever I end up with loops & ends, we simply slip into as I collect boundless strength; as we are humanities peerless rope.
I am the only one that can stop myself from finishing it with great confidence from my God above as he leads me to finish it. No matter what obstacle I face, with the rope of faith to walk along the outer road, I will secure myself to run the length of the inner road because I TRUST. ~ Lisa M.

"Peace Be With You " ~
An afternoon spent with my son today, It has been a gorgeous warm day. Except that it rained again for a bit in the afternoon. Well, this is Vancouver I guess I don't have to complain. NOT in my best mood to process images, I guess I am just dragging myself to do it. :0(
But when I am reminded that the sun's glimpse through my window wakes me up every morning, I am thankful that I am still ALIVE and I can still see the beautiful things around me. God gave me the talent to create beautiful things whether be it a painting or a picture I am very thankful for the chances I have in life. Thankful that I live freely & peacefully. Thankful that I live in a beautiful surroundings full of gardens, mountains, beautiful sky, fresh-air and an abundant life full of blessings.
I would like to express my appreciation by sharing my images to my beloved family & friends.
Peace Be With You!
Confidence
What is confidence?
Your love for your real nature.
What is confidence?
The destruction of your negative thoughts.
What is confidence?
The transformation of imagination
Into reality. ~ Sri Chinmoy
Journey ~
Lack of money
Delays your world-journey.
Lack of love
Delays your life-journey.
Lack of aspiration
Delays your God-journey.
Yet if you can remain happy,
Money-seeds will grow in you,
Love-river will flow through you,
Aspiration-mountain will wait for you ~ Sri Chinmoy

God-fragrance-garden ~
O My Heart
O my heart,
I am exceedingly happy today.
Do you know why?
Today I have completely passed through
The longest dry desert of my doubting mind,
And now I am being blessed
By the beauty of your
God-fragrance-garden ~ Sri Chinmoy

Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope ~
I saw the Lord ever before me,
with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.
Therefore my heart has been glad and my tongue has exulted;
my flesh, too, will dwell in hope,
because you will not abandon my soul to the nether world,
nor will you suffer your holy one to see corruption.
You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence. Acts 2: 25-28
Have a blessed Easter Monday!
Admiralty Light House~
Beautiful sunset over Fort Casey's big guns stood watch over the entrance to Puget Sound for decades. Today they watch over a breath-taking view of the Olympic mountains, Port Townsend ferry, shipping lanes, and even the ocassional Orca whales.
Built in 1861 and rebuilt in 1903, the lighthouse guided tall ships toward the Whidbey Island shore where they could fill their sails with wind. It was the last brick lighthouse designed by renowned German architect Carl Leick - its walls 18 inches thick to withstand the earthquakes that shake western Washington.
Admiralty Head's Fresnel lens was extinguished in 1922, but the lighthouse today welcomes visitors, weddings and tour parties with the help of dedicated volunteers. Enjoy our rich historical exhibits, browse our gift shop, and help preserve and restore Admiralty Head Lighthouse by becoming a member of Keepers of Admiralty Head Lighthouse.
This website includes lighthouse photos, history, exhibits, events, tours, directions and contact information, and links to other resources for lighthouse aficionados, and for visitors to northern Puget Sound, Whidbey Island and the Coupeville area.
Admiralty Head Lighthouse is owned by Washington State Parks Commission and kept open in partnership with Washington State University Island County Extension Lighthouse Docent Program.

The smiles of thy soul ~
I am Happy
I believe everybody;
Therefore
I am happy.
I love everybody;
Therefore
I am happy.
I think of God every day, everywhere;
Therefore I am happy.
I am happy, I am always happy
Because
Heaven lives for the cries of my heart
And Earth lives for the smiles of my soul.
Sri Chinmoy
One of my favorite poet, a very prolific writer, excellent meditation write ups and a spiritual guru.
A little something about him:
Sri Chinmoy was born in Chittagong, East Bengal (Now Bangladesh) in 1931. From an early age Sri Chinmoy, lived in the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, South India. Here Sri Chinmoy engaged deeply in meditation and spiritual activities, attaining a state of Self - Realisation, or awareness of one's true divine nature. At the ashram, in addition to meditation, Sri Chinmoy took part in different activities such as sports (in which he excelled) and writing. With the encouragement of Sri Aurobindo and other older members of the ashram, Sri Chinmoy composed many poems in his mother tongue - Bengali. In 1956 he composed his first English poem “The Golden Flute”.
In 1964 Sri Chinmoy was inspired to travel to America and offer India’s spiritual tradition to aspiring seekers in the West. Sri Chinmoy settled in New York and began to offer meditation classes and lectures on spirituality. Over the past 40 years, Sri Chinmoy Centres promoting inner and outer peace, have been formed in over 60 different countries. Sri Chinmoy was also a prolific artist, musician and writer, as well as being very active in sports.
To promote greater oneness and harmony in the world, Sri Chinmoy offered weekly prayers and meditations at the United Nations for 37 years. During his lifetime, Sri Chinmoy met with many world leaders, such as Michael Gorbachev, John Paul II and Mother Teresa; he explained that these meetings inspired one another to carry on their work for world harmony.
Sri Chinmoy is also the founder of the international Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team and the World Harmony Run, a global running relay which seeks to strengthen international friendship and understanding. Sri Chinmoy departed the earthly scene in October 2007, but his poetry and other creations, as well as his peace initiatives, ensure that his legacy will live on to inspire countless seekers of truth and peace in the future.
